writers strike

getting to the crunch now. csi, desprate housewives and greys anatomy have only 2-3 original episodes left. movies are running thin atm. and the golden globes just around the corner. good to see that letterman got his boys back through a seprate deal that cbs has. which has forced leno to restart too. even though he has no writers with him. however isnt it great seeing him hand out pizza to the picketers.



its a bit silly of the industry for not giving in to the writers. as eva longoria said in an interview "i wouldnt be who i am without them" and be interesting at the globes too, if they do to air, picketers will be outside for the entirety of the event.

The golden globes is officially off now.
There will just be a press conference announcing the winners and that's it.

The writers should get more, they are (in my biased view) the most important aspect to making a film, programme etc.

Without writers you just get a concept, with a crew and actors faffing about making up lines on the spot and proving to be highly boring programmes/films (See: Oceans 11 (The original starring the rat pack)).

Fuming - Two reluctant superheros team up to thwart a world threat. One has the power to make others angry, the other makes things overwhelmingly stink.
