Well lads quick query for I.T. gurus. Have an ipad 2 and well wifi a joke lately. Might work for 1 min then go. I know it's not router as phone and laptop work perfect and are in same area so it can't be signal issues either. But if anyone can help it'd be appreciated

you might be able to check and install the latest updates via the cable. I've always done that via WiFi but I know you are having issues.

I'd also do a full factory reset, but you will lose everything if you haven't backed it up previously.

other than that, it could be a hardware issue which means you'd need to send it back to Apple for repair.

Yea I don't think it hardware as wifi sometimes appears and well I think system is up to date so I don't know. I tried factory reset and still same

Try using it on a different WiFi network. I've found them to be very mysterious at times, they like some networks more than others.

does the problem persist if you try it on a different wifi network? Likeliest scenario is it's just your router being a b'stard.

If you don't have access to another wifi network then tether the pad to your phone, or laptop and see if that stabilises it.

It's threads like these that show we need some more rugby fans in India.

This problem would be easily solved by Sanjeev!
