Why did the IRB change its name to "World Rugby"?

What was the reason of the name change from the IRB (International Rugby Board) to World Rugby?

Marketing.
International Rugby Board sounded too corporate while World Rugby is more down to earth. For a sport that intends to grow, it kinda make sense, thou i personally tend to favour tradition.

Maybe "World Rugby Federation" would have made more sense.
