Well my second XV might sound a bit odd, as lots of guys that are in PDV's first XV aren't even 2nd XV material IMO. With all these injuries, my second XV (if I were to choose the squad) 1. Coenie Oosthuizen 2. Gary Botha (Schalk Brits first choice hooker. Bismarck gives away too many penalties for a World Cup) 3. CJ van der Linde (Would have to call him up due to so much injury, although he'd be my starting loosehead with BJ at tighthead) 4. Rossouw (Would be my first choice lock, but too many injuries) 5. Franco van der Merwe (Such a skilled and under-rated player. Good in all aspects) 6. Keegan Daniel (My usual second choice loose trio would be 6. Louw 7. Alberts 8. Vermeulen) 7. Jean Deysel 8. Dewaldt Potgieter 9. Sarel Pretorious 10. Butch James (Peter Grant my first choice fly-half) 11. Bjorn Basson (Habana injury is a blessing. He is useless. Hougaard my first choice wing.) 12. Juan de Jongh 13. Gerhard van den Heever (Would be in my extended squad as wing cover, but he's played outside centre and woulod be good to give him experience) 14. Mvovo (Not a giant fan, Aplon my first choice number 14, but who else is there for second choice? Pietersen is useless IMO. Had a couple of good weeks, but years of poorness prior to that) 15. Riaan Viljoen 16. Adriaan Strauss (Yes, Bismarck is effectively my fourth choice hooker. Can't handle his retardation when it comes to discipline) 17. Dean Greyling 18. Wilhelm Steenkamp (Has been exceptional for the Cheetahs and is an Emerging Bok) 19. Ernst Joubert (Honestly we're f#*ked with loose-forward injuries. Gotta look over-seas) 20. Vermaak (anyone but McLeod) 21. Lambie (Lucky Lambie as he's known in my household) 22. Olivier Not a team that's gonna win anything, but it's providing experience for youngsters while the top guys rest for the World Cup
