"Congratulations on the Top14 Championship, Jonny, phone call for you"

Hang on only 3-3 and 30 minutes gone yet!!

Kockett being his usual cock-aint-it.................

Oh certainly. I was more referring to the immediate nature of the call.
Kockott is far superior to many of the SA scrumhalves currently playing.

....when he's finished the French Final after kicking in the drop goal at the 77th minute to win by 1.

Be good to see him out in Oz. He should be in the squad.

Kearney has hammy tear if bad will it be King John to the rescue?????

Yup, when Kearney ends up pulling out of the squad, I see Jonny getting the call.

Not sure how I feel about it. Would be good to have his presence in the squad but I'd hate for him to start over Sexton. Would rather they just took Jonny over Farrell anyway and we were about to call up Twelvetrees or Madigan in place of Kearney..

Hold on Kearney plays full back why call up a fly half? although it would have been nice to see a 3rd flyhalf going to start with.

There's already two 15s.
I did think it was weird originally to have 3 15s and 2 10s, now they can rectify it :p

Making the right call though. Nice to see him showing some serious respect to the man who pays his wages, by making sure he's fit and ready to go for next season.

Can't imagine it was an easy decision to make though.

So, who's next? Priestland?

Ladilaw then Biggar would be next in line I guess.

Dont exactly strike confidence

madigan, bigger, jackson, flood or even laidlaw ahead of priestland

Priestland's injured anyway.

Personally I'd have Biggar. His goal kicking and kicking from hand are top drawer. The rest of his game is solid to good. He's come on hugely in the last couple of seasons, and I really like the way he plays the game now, he stands flat and draws players around him into the game, and he picks the right times to attack the gainline himself.

Madigan would be the slightly flashier, and more versatile option, but Biggar has quite a lot more experience.

Is Flood actually fit? Should know, but I don't...
