In this cup we've seen some good matches ranging from spectacular comebacks, big upsets to try feasts and marginal losses. I've compiled a list of games that had those special moments.

The Canadian 25-20 win over Tonga after a see saw match that had the Canucks leading at half time, Tonga taking back the lead after a powerfull comeback and ending with two Canadian tries in 7 minutes to seal the game.

The Springbok 17-16 win over Wales when in the final minutes the Welsh missed a dropgoal and a penalty kick.

Probably the biggest upset of the tournament, Ireland beating Australia for the first time in WC history 15-6 after a tryless but nailbiting encounter.

New Zealand and France battled it out in a frenetic struggle. The AB's won 37-17 but we've seen line breaks, drop goals, interceptions in what was probably one of the most fluent matches in the tournament so far.

Easily SA vs Wales, for me anyway

Despite being a great win for Ireland I thought that match was fairly dull
France the same, because after the first few minutes it wasn't really a contest - I think I'd built the match up too much in my head, so it was just a disappointment to what I expected :p

Canada vs Tonga was good though

Same I really sat down to watch that match and then after 20mins the freakin french weren't interested and NZ ran away with it. I was dissapointed alright.

SA v Wales absolutely, it was a great game; entertaining at all levels and a nail bighter to the end.

I enjoyed the Tonga France game the best, always something special about seeing the French get smashed and seeing them get smashed by Tonga was just beautiful. :)

Canada vs Tonga, it ticks all the boxes, it was a close dramatic game, it produced an upset win, it was entertaining rugby and it was won with good tries. None of those other matches can say they had all those things.

Scotland V Romania could be on the list, and perhaps France V Tonga.

of the close games Tonga vs. France was the best IMO, not on that list. Next would be the Ireland vs. Aussie game. I thought it actually was a good contest.

Of the games that weren't close NZ vs. France was good to watch. France poured the pressure on at the start and the AB's absorbed it all then scored almost as soon as they got possession and started what I think was the most impressive and dominant 20min period of play of the RWC so far between to top teams.

Ireland vs Australia was about as entertaining as women's cricket

In terms of quality of rugby then I'd have to go for the Boks - Wales game but I'm with those who mention France - Tonga. It certainly entertained me and got Saturday off to a good start. England - Scotland was a bit of a downer after that. France, I think, mis-interpreted the rules and thought that it was a game of touch rugby, so the quality practically came all from the Tongans. Pleased I mis-set the alarm clock or I would have missed it.

Canada vs Tonga was great but I'd put Wales vs SA 1st as it was just as good a match but has bigger influence.

Never knew a country called Caada was competing;)

Why isn't Scotland vs. Romania an option?

I've chosen not to include it because even though it was very engaging there was really no tactics in it. A lot of mistakes on both sides decided the score.

@Me 1 Sorry, it was 1AM when I made the poll and now I can't change it :) the 2nd post of the thread is self explanatory :)

Wales vs SA and Ire vs Aus were both awesome. I voted Ire vs Aus because of the result :p .

AB vs France was great from a NZ'ers point of view but I'm guessing it wouldn't have been all that exciting for a neutral? After the first 10 mins it looked like France's heart wasn't really in it.
