Yeah, agree. It does make you think why most bands feel the need to swear and the like. I'm not against swearing, and am guilty of it quite a lot myself, but as I grow older I start to feel that swearing is becoming more and more prevalent, and is simply being accepted. I was watching CBBC the other day with my g/f's nieces and nephews, and OMG was used quite regularly in one show. This annoyed me for two reasons, I hate people using text speak when they're actually talking (people actually say 'lol' instead of well laughing!) and I don't want children's tv to promote that as ok and cool. Secondly, OMG stand's for Oh My God, which whilst not a bad swear word is technically 'taking god's name in vain', not that I believe in that, but I've always been brought up that it's not something I should use around my grandparents for instance, and many religious people especially would find it slightly offensive.


Anyway, rant over. Bloody hell, I must be getting old if I'm complaining about the use of such a phrase. Yes I realise the irony in my rant about swearing containing a swear word.
