Not a wise move. He may find himself heading Dragons way or to a Championship team. Especially considering he got chances when Biggar was playing 6N and hardly staked a claim to start ahead of Biggar as first choice in my opinion. Has been overtaken as young prospect by Owen Williams and Rhys Patchell this season.

Agreed. They haven't even used Smith this season (despite him being seemingly being undroppable and made captain sometimes last season) and promoted King and Morgan Allen ahead so what was the point of him coming back anyway? King is a better player than Smith.
