Wasps sign Russians Vladislav Korshunov and Victor Gresev

Wasps have signed Russia international hooker Vladislav Korshunov and number eight Victor Gresev until the end of the season.

Brilliant for those fellas! Two of the best players from the weaker nations at the World Cup. Wasps are apparently chasing the young winger too, Denis Simplikevich. Most of the impressive players from the 'minnow' nations found big clubs after the RWC. Heinz Koll of Namibia was another Wasps signing as was Tinus du Plessis (but that's not surprising as he used to play for Rotherham ***ans). Chris Biller, the US hooker, is on loan at Bath and the Georgian hooker Jaba Bregvadze is on loan at Toulouse. I'm still waiting for Danie van Wyk to get a big club though. At the very least he should get a contract with a Currie Cup First Division team. Fingers-crossed!
