Round 12: Lions vs Cheetahs (06-05-11)

The Lions have had a nice week's break giving them time to prepare against this weekend's game against the Cheetahs and hopefully shake up a team that's in the middle of a difficult losing streak. Having made some changes to their pack they're hoping to get a similar result to the one they had last time they played against the Cheetahs scraping a 5 point victory.

The Cheetahs will have their heads held a little higher coming into this game. Their attacking prowess has been strong over the past few weeks and after a wonderful win for them against the Brumbies last week they were also unlucky to lose against the Hurricanes two weeks prior to that game after the 'Canes scored a try in the dying seconds of the game. The defence has been somewhat shaky, but they toured strongly in NZ and will be looking to take this game by the scruff of the neck, given the low morale that the Lions must be feeling.
