1. Any links to support this claim?

2. You could be right, I wouldn’t die on that hill which is why is said “fingers crossed” but I don’t see anyone being able to garner the cult like support Trump has. Could be wrong though

First 2 Google links, there are plenty more breakdowns of his finances. Making claims like he's enriching himself look silly when you consider how much money he lost since 2015, which Trump fans are very quick to tell me, and would be you if any were still here and not bullied out.

This is why echo chamber aren't good for you lol.

Here's a visual, 4 bill 2015... lost consistently 20 about 2.5b, then bang, media company to the rescue.

One could argue, being banned from twitter saved his bacon...

And how did he lose this money. Were there any external economic factors? Was he just unlucky? Was this money he lost due to him being president, as your original claim implied? Did say Covid have any impact on the value of any of his assets and again is this because he was POTUS? How much money has he made from the crypto scam and selling off bits of his suit he had his mugshot taken in?

Forbes attributed the decline of Trump's fortune to three main factors: e-commerce eating into the value of Trump's real estate holdings, the intrusion of heightened security at Trump's resorts, and Trump's own over-reporting of the size of his penthouse.

Ok, let's look at that, 4.5b worth pre presidency, to 3b pre covid. Economy was booming, his financial for the 5 year period were all inclining, 2012 to 2016 2.9b to 4.5b.

So, what happened between 2016, and 2019? Hahaha

Im not saying that the guys a saint, but the only factor in that period is the presidency, and the very common documented burden it places on a person's health. The fact is Trump's first term was the first time in history a president lost money, and he didnt accept the salary (genius campaign move btw).

We can argue the details, but the claim the presidency has made him richer is ludicrous, he's recovered from continual losses since he run in 2015 floating his media company.

Now he, as all billionaires are, is probably a scumbag and is doing a number of nefarious things to avoid tax and collude etc, my point is it's harder to do that when your pre occupied starting rows on twitter with every politician and every other country hahaha

Firstly, I was more alluding to his second term rather than his first and talking about motivations for said 2nd term. Secondly, my claim wasn’t the presidency has made him richer I said the aim or goal was to avoid jail and to enrich himself and his family. The fact that Trump failed at this wouldn’t detract away from his aim which is to always look out for himself (a point I’m sure you agree with)

Or are you suggesting he knew he was going to lose money but took on the job of being POTUS about of some altruistic motivation?

I mean, those were his claims during campaign 1 and 2, he would regularly talk about how he could earn more money doing what he was doing, and then talked about the negative effects his civic duty had on his business...

You did say his aim or goal was to enrich himself, but it stands to reason if that was his motivating factor, why, after losing 1 billion, then losing the election in 2020, he would run again?

Surely if finances were his biggest aim he would have just focused on tax evasion, crypto scams and real estate...

He's in his 80's, has more money than he could spend in 10 lifetimes, was the president of the USA and had done and seen everything he wanted to, how does enriching himself factor in to decision making for a guy like that?

Im genuinely baffled as to how little people actually understand Trump, maybe you guys only watch anti Trump media, only consume news that affirms your beliefs, that are aligned with their agendas, maybe you guys don't listen to people online who disagree...

It's genuinely a fascinating mindset, that every single person on this thread is 100% right about Trump, there hasn't been 1 concession about any of the actions, or mistruths published, not 1! Whereas I criticise him constantly, but counter silly links as not factual, yet I'm 100% in the wrong lol.

Let's look at it another way, what is the statistical chances in an other subject politically, would 99% of people discussing it, be 100% accurate, while not conceding a single point of discussion, while the 1% who criticises and acknowledges accomplishments be 100% wrong?

Seeing as you didn’t answer how much he mad from crypto and stuff I found this.

I havnt seen too much of his crypto portfolio, I'm guessing a couple hundred mill?

How does this effect the conversation though, let's say it's all a scam, the presidency would still detract him from scamming more people and enriching himself no?

I said avoid jail AND enrich himself.

I think he stood to gain, and has gained, a lot more from being POTUS than he would've had he not been president. As much as you like to think he's a genius businessman most of his wealth comes from the apprentice and has gone bankrupt more than once but in my humble opinion he's a scam artist and what better way to scam people than garner a cult like following AND holding the most powerful office in the world.

Look, I'm happy to give Trump credit where it's due which is why I asked you ages ago to give me something to go on and you said he loves his kids and is tee total. I need more than that bud.
