I already mentioned this on another thread, but for those that havent read it...
By way of non-apology for server time spent not-down, Microsoft is subsidising the cost of every purchase of Undertow on Xbox Live Arcade from today up until Sunday. What does this mean for you? Why, it means you can download Undertow right now for the princely sum of 0 points, while Microsoft has to pay the developer for every copy downloaded! If you're a fan of free games that normally cost money, get it. If you're a fan of games with lots of explosions in it, get it. If you're a fan of kicking Microsoft square in the nuts, get it. If you're on Xbox Live, get it.
Already purchased Undertow before today? Ring Customer Support. If they can verify you purchased it before today, they'll reimburse you the full 800 points so you can essentially pick whichever game you want. Nice of them.
So yeah, if you can get on Xbox Live Marketplace, grab it. Now. (Once downloaded, itll be attached to your gamercard as a "purchase", so you can download it again whenever you want, even after the free period is up.)
This has been a Public Service Announcement by everybodys favourite friendly neighbourhood evil genius.
