The Six Nations are upon us, the last weekend before the Competition begins is nearly over, so who looks likely to break into their squads and make the big impression on the international stage... Having looked on the BBC Site they have a similar feature with their Six Nations Player watch, this is the results from that Martyn Williams The Blues flanker showed exactly why new Wales coach Warren Gatland wanted to tempt him out of retirement. Williams produced a truly outstanding display in awful, wet and muddy conditions at Bristol's Memorial Stadium. The veteran dominated the breakdown, put in some massive hits, showed some delicate touches with the boot and was generally all over the park. Any doubts over whether he will start have been well and truly put to bed. BBC verdict: HOT STUFF Getofmeland's verdict: Always likely to have a moment of Brilliance in a game will give Wales something different like he always has, this is why he is always likely to HOT! Iain Balshaw Gloucester's Iain Balshaw is fighting it out with Mathew Tait to become England full-back but put in a poor performance against Ulster on Sunday. The 28-year-old was dodgy under the high ball, weak in the tackle and his handling was not up to scratch. His kicking was also far from impressive and despite a late try he did not justify Brian Ashton's decision to include him in England's Six Nations squad having dropped him for the World Cup. BBC verdict: OFF THE BOIL Getofmeland's verdict - One of the most overrated players in English History, no simple way to put it but he is as cold as the Liquid Nitrogen, lets hope he doesn't get a chance to play for England, far better talent available Ronan O'Gara The Munster fly-half produced a wet-weather masterclass to guide his side to a crucial Heineken Cup win over Wasps. O'Gara played the conditions perfectly at a sodden Thomond Park, using his kicking game to peg the English club back in their own half to allow his forwards to pile on the pressure. His eye for a gap also led to the game-winning try. O'Gara sold a perfect dummy to split the Wasps defence before offloading to Denis Leamy to race over. BBC verdict: BOILING Getofmeland's Verdict - usually a very reliable player, he never gave a solid display in the world cup but which Irish player did. On club performances he is better but whether he is able to bring this to the international game is another story altogether, I am gonna have to go for simmering... Geordan Murphy The Leicester full-back was out of favour with Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan during the World Cup but more displays like the one against Leinster on Saturday will see him force his way back into the starting XV. Murphy was alert in defence, reliable under the high ball and kicked intelligently. In a fiery game, the Irishman kept his cool and was solid in defence. He also showed a decent turn of pace and could challenge Girvan Dempsey. BBC verdict: ON FIRE Getofmeland's Verdict - Murphy is having a good season with Leicester, he is starting to shine and could make a huge impression if picked by O'Sullivan - Gaining momentum. Well that gives you a taster, there are a few more but lets have your opinions on who you think are gonna shine and whos gonna need to start thinking about a different career.
