Maybe, afterall there's no reason why he can't be... But only since the white overalls anyway. Perry McCarthy was the original black suited stig.

I haven't seen Top Gear for years, have they ever actually unveiled him on the show?

They unveiled him as Michael Schumacher in the summer. That was pretty funny.

Well, I dunno. Probably not. But Clarkson acted for like 10 minutes as if he'd never seen this guy before, very funny stuff....
It can't have been him, because his lap time in the car was absolutely phenomenal. I think he drove a black Ferrari, and beat the previous highest supercar laptime by roughly 4 seconds. It was amazing.

From what i've heard, in general it's the guy mentioned in the first post, but when they do powerlaps the companies send over their test drivers (hence Schumacker being there on the day as he's the test driver for new ferraris) and they're the stig for that lap
