Looks to me like easy wins for Clermont and Montypellier with a draw in the late night Saturday game best suiting both of the challengers! Toulouse lose here and they are surely in problems of qualifying especially with a Racing win in the local derby.....I believe that I am right is saying that they are defying the trend to have these "super " fixtures moved to bigger grounds to ensure home adavantage and good for them..

May all enjoy this weekend's treats and perhaps I will be able to catch up in due course unless the rain continues here when I will have nothing else to do!!!

lol had never heard of Faverges, but so be it. And "Oarlocks" hehe...well they sure ain't Olympic no more, that's fer sure !

Toulouse I seriously get this feeling that the whole season they try only half-way, and love to put themselves in ridiculously stressful situations only to get out of them at the very end. It's quite hilarious.
They beat everyone in their Pool in the H Cup, win every single game except one. Really ? Which one, most probably the Saracens away at Wembley ? NOPE. OK, then necessarily the one at home vs the Saracens ? Not even. THEY LOSE THE HOME GAME TO FKN CONNACHT !!!!! CONNAAAACHT

So now they've got a typical Toulouse situation. They might not make the top 6, how INSANE is that ?! Yes the Top 14 has crazy talent everywhere but Toulouse not even top 6 ??? fk it. It's plain ridiculous.

Fortunately Racing have little to no chance of winning in Stade Faverges themselves...and Toulouse will struggle enormously in Toulon. In fact they might take a pounding, mmmyes.

I don't see why you'd call the Clermont potential victory in Brive "easy"...

Near Annency in Eastern France!!!!

..............to try and elicit an argumentative statement ex a newbie Brive supporter....................and also because, with a decent ASM team, it will be!!!

The gods have spoken, Gaston for the moment is keeping quiet, they say, that is "The Gods", Clermont will lose at Brive, Toulon and Toulouse will draw, BO will beat Castres, Paris and Racing they go draw or away win, Oyonnax to win,Bordeaux to win and guess what they have Montypellier as the only team to get a bonus victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being a religous type i can understand where they are coming from and YES you have guessed right if "The Gods" are right and we should not question them Montypellier will be top of the TOP 14 by Sat evening, these "Gods" are tres forts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Cuckoo land (Montypellier) is where are "Gods" reside then yes!!! but Gaston has not been quoted here it is the "Gods" that are doing all the talking, be careful my friend the "Gods" that are of Montypellier residence have mighty powers, and if Gaston agrees with them, but he will be waiting until he knows Sat's team probably tomorrow, then you are looking at something of almighty power, which could be beyond anything that your thought process's are capable off !!!!!!!beware you have been warned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup cuckoo!!

cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gaston has once again parler with the Gods but not quite in agreement:
Home wins for Bordeaux Stade Fraverges,
away wins for Clermont, Castres and Yes Toulouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, i have a sneaky feeling that Toulouse are in need of pts. and will pull off something special at Mayol!!!!!!!!!!!! (its also my joker)
Grenoble will win at Oyonnax another very brave forcast by Gaston this week he is certainly putting his life on the line.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only match left Montypellier v The Rowers of Bayonne, a bonus point win for Montypellier, with a bucket full of tries and a very sad evening for ex Montypellier Martin Bustos-Moyano and Santi Fernandez!!!!!!!!! and Gaston has an excellent Sat night with a couple of beers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whewwwwwww, Brive's second try. Pure team try, pure flair. DANG. Happy to see Domingo dominating in the scrum again though, on Clermont's bright side.

What the score in the Brive v Clermont game?

hey man, wasn't there at the time anymore to answer you.
A huge injury occurred with a Brive guy's arm set loose at elbow level, he was writhing in pain. Brive gets it after a late Clermont surge 26-24...Brive's second try a beaut I'll post when it's out...
but don't worry, your Tigers are still getting perforated in the anus in Stade Michelin. Sorry to break it to you.

Firstly B.E. there will be no mention of that word that relates to a large strippy type feline, you will use their new name No. 75, or there will be punishment, do you understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and TigsMan how sutle !!!!!!!! whats the score now!!!!!!!!! you obviously do not know much about TOP 14 rugby and the home and away issues that are always happening in this very tough Championship.the first 8 / 10 teams can still qualify for the top 6 playoffs. You will understand better after next week when you become victim No.75!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Brive, generous helping hand to Montypellier last night, a very brave and well earned victory over leaders Clermont, complete confusion in the 2nd half, Brive had 2 props injured and 2 props yellow carded, and Clermont had the rules mixed up and went for touch instead of un contested scrums where they would have had to have another 2 players leave the field. Clermont made far too many mistakes but Brive were very aggressive and won the battle on the floor and around the rucks and mauls scoring 2 excellent tries. They are more or less certain to be playing TOP 14 next season which means i get to eat a great steak next season at the Tribu resto Brive.
Always remember to listen to "The Gods" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should hopefully do the job 4pts will be good 5 pts excellent but concentration firstly on winning the game Bayonne have nothing to lose and they have some great players, especially in the backs O'Connor, Spedding, Rokocoko Santi Fernandez is playing 10 could be very interesting.

The Bayonne team is as follows

Le XV de départ: Spedding ; Vaka, Rokocoko, Ugalde, O'Connor ; (o) Fernandez, (m) Rouet ; Marmouyet, Fonua, Monribot ; Fa'aoso, Senekal ; Muller, Etrillard, Van Rensburg. Remplaçants: Roumieu, Iguiniz, Boutaty, Haare, Ollivon, Bélie, Ahotaeiloa, Tialata.

my bad, *victim no.75...will still be taking a pounding in the rectal area is what I was trying to get at...
damn, Montypellier looks freaking sexy when their lineup is replenished like that. That XV can do some serious damage (as we've seen from time to time...). Sure victory for TD's men...perhaps even one of their signature 40+ bashings...

And yeah Clermont just never looked in command at all...very strange to watch, those Gargantuan Top 14 sides lose almost all their mojo when they're on the road...

When you think no Fu Fu, Ranger, Figallo, Bustos, Beattie, Ivaldi Chale- Watchou, Nems, Flochy etc still not a bad line up, just think when we get to the final and have all our players fit Galthie will have a big problem selecting the 23 to play the final !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can see a French team winning the very last H Cup and also the Bouclier de Brennus. it will make up for the lack of a Grandious Slamious!!!!!!!!!!!

my God gaston...when I read "Fu Fu" I actually hesitated for a second it'd been that long...Fulgence, damn. And some of those other guys too...MP has not been spared by the injury demon this year, it's true...

And yes, I also hope a French team will win the Bouclier de Brennus ! :yes3:

As for the "last" H Cup, no matter what it's either Clermont/Toulon or an Irish Province. Not a great choice...
