F**king merry Christmas to most of you. After stuffing ourselves sick with foie gras, festive bubbles, turkey and chocolate logs/bûches de noel, we return 1.5 times our previous weight and then our high activity may resume once more. We sit down and watch Top 14 Rugby and then make 3, maybe 4 line remarks about the games here on this prestigious, VIP thread. A full program, busy, busy days...calories, as good as gone.
About a week from now, bit less, this all happens on the same day. The day of the sun, that is. Sundae:

Let's have a look at the table (not too long, though, we'll then switch to looking at the cupboard):

Same old shiit so far. Castres is last, Toulouse a step outside the Top 6, 1st/2nd/3rd/4th are the same but boy oh boy Stadée Francouille vs Toulon will be humongous. Burban vs Steffon Armitage...and the stakes are super high. If Toulon loses in the capital and Clermont win in Lyon, which is a likely scenario Toulon will lose their league-leading spot.
Toulouse Racing, another big, big encounter on the rise. MUST-WIN for Castres, if they lose this they're basically just fkd already, now, in December.

And a very merry Christmas to you B E humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug humbug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas, much happiness Lord Gastrubald ! May you lead a Trinh-Duc-including, Montypellerionni-winning, moderately-but-not-too-moderately wine drinking 2015 full of twists and turns for us Top 14 dwellers are a breed of special needs and cannot settle for the boring routine life anymore...

So hey, even Stade Fontaine-Bleau could end up stealing the first spot next week and become the Christmas Top 14 Lords.

FS vs RCT is a huge fixture. RM92 away to Toulouse is the one for me though.. Here's hoping both traveling teams take it.

debating going to the Stade vs Toloun game It's quite late at night though (trains home are the issue not the fact it kicks off at 9) so i'm a bit undecided.

I see you've fully taken on your duty as a free Macing Retro fan, at least during the SR off-season. Good on you !
And I think I'm actually going to root for Paris next weekend. I love it when a big gun runs into recurrent issues, something of a growing complex for the ***an...remember Paris is the only team that's won in Mayol this year, and at the very eve of the new year, for Paris to win and take Toulon's place as Top 14 leaders...that would be pretty fkng awesome, and tbh an enormous feat. Of course a Toulon win would be nice too, obviously, for me.

that's good. I debate with myself all the time about all kinds of things. Especially while smoking a cigarette, taking a shower or taking a shiit. Sure it's a bit weird when people walk by the toilets and hear a voice talking by itself, but it's a small price to pay for high quality and diverse, committed and fair conversation.

I guess that's why my internal monologue comes in handy, only i know i'm mental enough to argue with myself.

What is wrong with this world no taxi and no wives to come and pick you up how unthoughtful especially at Christmas!!!!!!!!!!

I live a long way from billancourt, gaston, 3 hour round trip in the car with a small child around midnight?

Even I wouldn't ask that off the Mrs. I may drive in myself.

Whatever has the world come too!!! Love to know what she would say if you did ask!!!

On a serious note.....it is ridiculous that France is trying to imitate Spain with matches ending at 11 especially when the infrastructure for spectators is not there!

Et Voila the teams for this afternoons French Boxing Day clash in Castres, the home side in desperate need of pts. as they are 14th of 14 and Montpellier who are in not quite sure where at the moment. Jake White and Shaun Sowerby, to be arriving shortly, the press having a field day off Galthie's back, will he stay wil he go????? watch this space, will know more this coming week, but could be sworn to secrecy or who knows what could happen!!!!! but the fattened goose could already be slaughted and not even cooked!!!!! and with Toulon coming to Montpellier next Saturday this could be a most interesting of weeks, the former consultant now under consultation by another, the world works in very mysterious ways n'est pas!!!!!! but this is the TOP 14 loads of money, and with money results are needed, no results then changes happen, consultation by consultants, who were not being consultated but now are under threatening consultation, P45's to be consultated maybe sooner than later!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow what a 2000th post !!! i ask you, is this boy good !!! or what !!!
