Biarritz stayed over in the West of France after the Clermont game last Friday night and awoke to snow on Monday................at least they do not have to go to the ski slopes to practice their catching!! Word is that they are excited by their performance and think that they should have won, happy about the bonus point (which they should be) and are taking the positive into the game on Thursday. Lose this game and it is not just the French people who will be taking their chryshanthemums to the graveyards to honour their dead on Thursday...... Aupa BO!!

BO will have to play well to beat Grenoble especially at home Gaston will not be putting any money on BO tomorrow. However if the odds were better money would be placed on a 5 point win by Montpellier tomorrow against bottom of the table Mont de Marsan, but i dont think our place will change in the tables.

Blaauw Genevois Gomez Kodela
Lund E Taele
Guyot Lakafia Dubarry
Peyrelongue Traille (c.)
Baby Bosch Burutu Ngwenya
Balshaw

Heguy Barcella Thion Lund M Lesgourgues Barraque Brew Synaeghel

A team chosen not to lose I would suggest - interesting that if Aled had been playing instead of Zee, it would have been all the B's in the backs!!

Traille can only have been picked at 10 to kick and kick and kick again (and I hope his has improived than of late...particularly his KO's!) and the back line is probably the weakest of the season - strangely more defensively than offensively although not much in it!! Go on BO prove me wrong with a bonus point win!!!! If the win is there it will be a very narrow one indeed...........

I guess the try bonus point for MHL at home to MdM may be a better bet...................

Out of interest why are these games being played on a Thursday afternoon? Is it a holiday in France?

It is a holiday today, and it's an agreement between the league and the federation, to allow the French side a few more days of preparation.

All Saints Day........it is the day that the French people travel (including some - the length and breadth of the country) to visit family graves and the cemetrys are a mass of chrysathemums......

Well, as every weekend, the focus will be on what the RCT, ST and ASM can do. Clermont have been quite underwhelming as of late, and they're playing a pretty poor Agen side, so I don't think that will be much of a cracking match.
Toulon are playing SF, who are horrible on the road. Both teams are playing the bets they have (which is unexpeced from SF given the circumstances). That could start well, but Toulon will win by 15 or so.
Toulouse-Racing could be a good game. I'll put it this way: whenever Racing win, it's a horrible game. Their games are fun only if their defensive style of play doesn't pay off, which I hope will be tha case today.
I actually think that the game to watch today will be CO-USAP...

34-21 and that flatters BO who were gifted one try (courtesy of Grenoble pack and the referee) and scored another by luck more than good judgement!!

That is all I have to say else I would just cut and paste from previous posts and that would be extremely boring for all concerned!!

NAFFI

Not watching the games, only following them online and on the radio, but Toulon-SF and CO-USAP seem to be very exciting games. 5 minutes to go, 21-19 for Toulon, and 36-35 for Perpignan.

ST and Racing just kicked off.......no need to listen!!

Edit - Racing being well beaten by ST.....good performances by Stade and USAP on the road and Agen at home to ASM. Not sure that ASM will get their big 50 with Toulon their next visitors!!

As noone mentioned Montpellier I WILL, they did win with a bonus point!!!!!! ok it was against bottom of the table Mont de Marsan but it still counts and Montpellier cement their 4th place in this season's TOP 14. Sorry Tony but Grenoble are a good side which you now know, our next game is away at Toulouse and we have never won there yet, but there is a first time for everything with all their stars away or injured or suspendeed why not next Friday. Canal + have made it there Gala match not sure whether its because the visitors are Montpellier or otherwise !!!

Montpellier will have lots of internationals away though too, and have much less depth than Toulouse.

Creevy, Figallo, Ouedraogo and Trinh-Duc will all be on international duty.

Luckliy for Montpellier though they have managed to negotiate a deal to keep Fernández and Amorosino away from Argentina's camp for next week, plus I shouldn't think they will have to much trouble keeping Jgenti and Gorgodze from Georgia.

in fact they have done a deal to to keep all the 5 other Argie internationals till after the Toulouse game then they all leave to join their national squad, we will loose Mamuka but probably keep Giorgi Jgenti.

The reason no one mentioned MHL is that they were all waiting for your contribution......besides, hardlt a surprise bonus point win was it!!!! Well done and good luck next week.......think you might need it!!

Those in England may not be surprised to hear that Delon Armitage was sin binned yesterday against Stade Français for "excessive use of foul language".

He is slowly learning the hard way Laporte will sort him out or he will be on his way, as there are plenty more better than him, and its not as though Toulon have not got the cash to pay for who they want!!! He is just another soldier in an army of Generals and no one is bigger than the game itself.

For once Gaston and I totally agree and I would go further and say that I am not sure why they went from him in the first place as they have Lapeyre and Palisson who are better behaved and more reliable than him!

Whats all this " for once we totally agree crap"!!!! We always agree just sometimes differently!!!

Cheeky boy!! How much were you paid to be in that..............................?!!
