The Schalk Burger Meal

Ate one at Steers on my way back to Pretoria today. Nothing special really, basically a regular double cheese burger, medium chips and a coke.



Obviously just a marketing tactic, but atleast the adverts are funny!



Has this kinda thing been done in other countries? With rugby players especially

Yeah kind of.

Here in Australia, McDonalds had an Andrew Johns mean and Hungry Jacks had a Ben Cousins meal which were pretty much identical. No burger or chips, just coke and ice.

Nothing in the UK, as rugby plays second fiddle to football its not really a surprise though.

We did have the pizza adverts with Jonah Lomu and the Underwoods in them. Those were amazing. Suprised there wasn't the option to buy a 'Deep Pan Jonah' as a result...

There was one during the RWC in France at Quick (Burgers) - The Michalak Burger... can't remember what was in it though...
