the "other" rugby forum

Once you get there, the ******* even calls it "The Rugby Forum"! LULZ to the max!

I wouldn't worry to much though...a test in 2006 and another in 2007 :p

http://www.rugbyforums.com/ are coming along slowly but surely. Ugly as all hell interface though and pretty much just another franchise of Vertical Sports.

haha i just went there and clicked on southern hemisphere rugby which has about 10000 threads in the 1 single topic. i saw a thread "henry axes jimmy cowan" and thought, wow that's news... didn't see that coming. then i realised that it actually happened about 2 months ago... and the thread is still on the first page :(

Yeah I think the overwhelming majority of the posting is done by a few people (Admin and mods) with the hope that people find interest and reply. I had a bit to do with it before I was mod here but it had no direction and the admin was almost an idiot in terms of flexibility and creativeness, so of course, I left lol.

yeah i noticed that "Truebluefan" is the administrator and does a lot of copying and pasting of articles from teh internetz without actually referencing his sources.

Haha yeah I suggested that he not do that and actually mention the source for once but he pretty much made it clear he has a "who cares" attitude.

Quite a **** site really.

nevermind, he seems like a smart fullah... i'm sure he'll figure it out himself someday :)

Anyway, back to the original topic subject matter...

We should attempt to trademark or copyright the naming term "The Rugby Forum". If I was Dave Child (the creator of the other trf) I'd ©/™ it and then threaten action against us. We should be pricks and do that to him :p

But seriously, its an idea...

heh, just saw a poll he posted yesterday:

'Will the Cardiff Blues win the Magners League again' with a grand total of.....1 vote for yes. :p they haven't even won it once, so it's kinda hard for them atm to win it 'again'

About time we win it!

I wouldn't screw him over with a lawsuit Melon. It just isn't worth the while.

Whilst unrealistic, it was an entertaining idea :D
