My problem for me isn't the cast in BvS - it's that I feel the trailers have already given a crap load away, and it simply looks ridiculously packed and convoluted. Batman v Superman v Lex Luthor v Darkseid (who was General Zod) featuring a lazily worked in Wonder Women and maybe...Aqua Man? I actually like all the casting choices (barring maybe Eisenberg as Luthor). I have said I m a fan of Ben Affleck for Batman from the start. But I'd have much rather see it launched from his own movie (although I am happy skipping an origin story tbh). Of course this all said, I will go and see it. But the trailers makes me feel they just have thrown too much in - and revealed it all anyways. As TVH11 rightly pointed out - the reason why Deadpool is so good as a movie is because the whole production seemed to be built around people who just got it. Seeing Batman with some kind of machine gun facing up with Wonder Women and Superman vs Darkseid makes me think Snyder doesn't have the same Kevin Conroy voiced Batman in his head that I have grown up loving.
