* NH Player of the Year - BOD - for superb services to rugby over the past year including outstanding performances for the Lions and Ireland.
* SH Player of the Year - Matt Gitaeu - for excelling and even thriving in a position he should not even be playing in, let alone be suited for.
* Rugby League Player of the Year - erm....Andy Farrell?
* NH Young Player of the Year - Johnathan Sexton - for choosing to be patient and learn under the tuitilage of Contepomi rather than burn out too quickly. Has now paid dividends with a sensational year with Leinster and Ireland.
* SH Young Player of the Year - Will Genia - for taking his chance and showing just how much Dean's risk paid off during the Autumn Internationals.
* International team of the year - Samoa - despite having their homeland devestated by a Tsunami and tropical storms, the tenacity of the Samoan rugby player and their never say die attitude continues to set the Pacific Islands a class apart from the rest of the rugby world. Simply put, many of their now departed countrymen would want them to be playing during these past four weeks.
* NH Club/Provincial team of the year - Newcastle - for defying the critics who keep casting them as potential relegation bait two seasons in a row now.
* SH Club/Provincial team of the year - The South African Super 14 teams for showing consistency.
* Match of the year - 2nd SA - Lions Test. A total see-saw of a test match exhibiting the very best of international test rugby and proving that you don't need to change the rules to get awesome rugby.
* Coach of the year - Declan Kidney - consistently calm and superb in the selection of his coaching staff, his players and his tactics.
* Worst Jersey of the Year - Bath's gay army camo strip to promote Breast Cancer awareness.
* Try of the year - Slightly biased but 2nd try against France in this years England vs France le crunch merely for the sheer shock value of England playing their first creative rugby in the best part of a decade.
