I've just started watching The Jeremy Kyle show. I've never seen this before, it's new to New Zealand, and boy is it full of some nutters! This man seems to really get up his guests and really roar at them far more than Jerry Springer ever used to with his.

I've finally seem some true British chav's. Wow! I can see what you brits mean now!

What is the opinion of this show over there?

By the way, I've just found this parody of him on you tube, lol.

yeah this show if f***ing crazy.but ive found its in 2 sections, a jerry springer one, where the guests come out, hit the other one stirr **** and fight, then the 2nd half being like dr phill where he talks to sexual assult victums and stuff.

and i must say - theres nothing more entertaining then watching 4 degenerate poms having a go at each other. when there thick accent combined with poor vocabularly and swearing. its great.

Reminds me of a little of the public forums with Tony Blair about the Iraq War when he was drawing to the end of his rule...god bless the Brits and thier ballsiness.

The guests on the show are always ugly muthaf***as, for those from the southern hemisphere phew of use are really that ugly. :p

It can be a pretty brutal show though...

A tv show to cater for the mass unemployed and bone idle. Get it off my TV!

This is the worse possible show on tele, the people who watch it are on the lowest people... The people who go on it are far worse...

Who would actually go on this show seriously...

Indeed that is the question posed in the parody at the top of the page.

Apparently nearly every brit hates this show, as when it screens in other countries it shows the people of that particular country the british people they never get to see, because they can't afford to leave the country.

Not joking either, the dregs of any society are never renowned jet-setters. I guess Jerry Springers show had a similar crop of social elite really, didn't they?

excuse me! but i start work zt 3-4 in the avo. im aloud to watch shitty tv programes when i choose to,

There's stuff that everybody watches that could be called by some the 'lowest of the low'.

Some would think that South Park is a vile, youth de-sensitising piece of crap with unnecessarily filthy humour. I'm not saying that.

To say Sambad and I are of the lowest for watching a talk show, is pretty over the top. Seeing as it's impossible to neg rep anyone nowadays, I'm going to plus rep Sambad.

Weeeell, if thats the case, then it's all good. That side of the british society is all new to us over here and is both horrible and fascinating. :D

Wooah Guys

Sorry I wasn't meant to offend you, I meant the people in the UK, its fine watching the odd episode when your off ill, but there are certain type of person that watch it religiously day in day out... Christ one of ITV's digital channels basically shows it for 4 hours in a row, and people sit and watch it...

These programs are feeding off the Chav culture in the UK, and encouraging these 'imbreds' to not get jobs and become a leach on society...

The only other people I would like to take out of this are Students because Students also seem to enjoy to watch these shows... What ever happened to the good ole daytime TV...

Like I say I apologise to Sambad and Craig and anyone else who offended, I didn't mean you guys, I don't know enough about your culture, so couldn't possibly comment on it...

Hey that's ok Charlie, turns out Dan cleared that up. Just seemed harsh without the context you've both bought to it.

For New Zealanders who haven't been over there, it's like seeing the side of Britain that we'd otherwise never get to see. Sure, you could wonder why we'd even want to see it, but let's face it, the bits that aren't sad are bloody hilarious!

like how every time the 2nd guest comes out, they smack the 1st guest. without fail. then once they have finnished the fight they bring in the security to split them up. then he says, i dont accept violence here, apologise to them. its crazy.

If he didn't accept violence he'd put the security in permanent position behind the two chairs, lol.

what i cant understand though, is, how could you be around people like that the whole time? yes, police, social workers etc do it, but they do it for good reasons, to try and help them. i dont think ive ever seen jeremy offer an actual solution, he just lets them have a go at each other on tv then send them home.

i would get so sick of the same ****, people with the same problems it would do my head in.

Dear me, the Jeremy Kyle show?
Oh no...

Yet another blemish on British television where we get to see the scum of the earth parading about in front of <strike>millions</strike> hundreds.

I have never been able to sit through a show in its entirety...thankfully i work during these hours on most days.

I think what makes it a true curiosity piece is the way the UK members of the forum talk about it.

It's crap, that's granted, but you'd almost think it was the one and only thing in this already sick and twisted world that has gone too far.

I'd swear that you guys want to lock up every video clip of it on earth and wipe it from any remaining hard drives and then shoot what you've collected into the furthest reaches of the cosmos. :p
