ok so the new xbox experience is coming to the 360 and its going to take up 128mb this means some people with core or arcade 360 bundles don't have enough room for it. so microsoft are offering 512mb memory sticks or a 20gig hard drive for a reduced price. apparently the 512mb stick is US only with the rest of the world getting the 20gig hard drive at the reduced price of $20 US.
an arcade/core 360 is retailing for about $400 in nz and the 20gig hard drive that also apparently comes with 3 months of live $40 for a total of $440ish NZ for a fully working 360 with a hard drive. This could be a sneaky way for some to get a 360 that don't have quite enough cash to afford it otherwise. it may even be worth checking through something like trademe for a core/arcade going for cheap and then order the hard drive to save even more money http://gizmodo.com/5062941/microsoft-nxe-d...memory-for-less
