Don't think any other stand outs really.

Believe it or not but I thought Odwa Ndungane played magnificent against the Blues and deserves to be in the team of the week (14 is still available haha). He had among other good tackles, a try saving tackle on Rene Ranger which really saved the win for us

From the Highlanders

8, Nasi Manu - Had a very big game, transferring his wonderful ITM cup form to the super14. I'm pretty sure he's key to the highlanders massive turnaround this year.
6, Adam Thompson - Go to man in the lineout and breakdown, makes a lot of tackles.
1, Jamie MacIntosh - Scrum wasn't perfect but I think that was more of a show of How good the chiefs front row is rather than Jamie's efforts, at least one thing is working at the chiefs. He was huge everywhere else though, looks to be in the best shape physically I've ever seen him.

Maybe Lambie deserves a spot at fly half in stead of Giteau. Lambie had an amazing match, just like Ndungane, where his goalkicking was superb en his place kicking was also top notch. It doesn't happen a lot but Lambie played a flawless game including his kicking

Pat McCabe was the man that stood out for me this weekend in Fullback. He was phenomenal and he's a tough bugger as well.

T_T not a single Stormer even up for consideration. Well, I guess a certain amount of rustiness was expected with the last game being our first real game of the season.

Only saw a couple of games (Highlanders v Chiefs, and Blues v Sharks) so can't really add a lot. Personally I thought Manu was poor (as I like my number 8's to be able to tackle better than Quade Cooper), but I definitely agree with Thomson and MacIntosh from the Highlanders. I would also mention Ben Smith had an outstanding game, but it sounds like McCabe and Beale had strong games at fullback, while Toeava was also a standout for the Blues (even though he did throw the intercept pass at the end..). I also thought Mealamu, Rococoko, and Kaino were impressive for the Blues.

I'd put Isaia Toeava in there. He really impressed me once again at fullback. He was the greatest attcking weapon for the Blues, and some of his takes of the high ball were some of the best I've ever seen. I think he makes a better fullback than centre by far.

Toeava is clas but i take it you guys havn't seen the Brumbies/Rebels game? McCabe and Gerrard were great in that game and McCabe was everywhere. Didn't put a foot wrong.
