Taylor's Scotland future in doubt

Simon Taylor's international future has been placed in doubt after he asked to be excused from new head coach Andy Robinson's first training camp.

Shame, there is not many player of his class in the Scotland squad...

I don't know if his future is in doubt as such. He obviously has his reasons for not wanting to catch up with the Scotland squad, and they've been accepted by Robinson. I would hope and expect Robinson is a big enought character to invite Taylor back into the next squad should his form permit his inclusion, and not to take the huff and cut him out. Here's hoping though that Taylor takes that second chance....

Seems like it's a mute point now anyway, seeing as he's out for three months with a broken foot.
