My wife and I are off to Australia for the 2nd and 3rd Tests and have the opportunity to buy tickets for the Supporter's Village.

Has anyone got any past experiences of the Supporter's Village which they can share as I'd like to know whether it's worth it (£75 each) for what you get.

I appreciate it's quite a subjective thing but would appreciate feedback all the same.

Cheers,
Niall

We followed the lions in South Africa in 2009, the fans village was all part of the package. We found that it was a great place to soak up the atmospher prior to the game but the food and drink was very average. The problem we had was that there was no alternative we were marched to the grounds as it would not have been safe to drink locally.I would avoid the village and go to a bar near the ground and wind up the locals. It will be a great tour have a great time.t

Many thanks for the reply.

We've decided to go for the Supporters Village for the 3rd Test as the stadium is outside the city. For Melbourne, the stadium is in the city so there are plenty of bars in the surrounding area for us to wind up the locals.
