Jordie had a but of a disappointing game given how good hea been the last couple of years. He started out like the jordie of old, making bad decisions and mistakes. And his goal kicking was off all game. But he did do a lot of good atuff including a couple of kicks to touch from penalties from 50 metres out giving the canes a lineout 5 metres out, leading to one try. This game really exemplified the weaknesses if the canes this year. at the end of the day the canes were always going to find it tough this season having to go deep into their halfback and first five stocks. Campbell was just a second too slow at getting his passes away, although his box kicking game was very good. Leger was just a but average and loves passing game was pretty poor, especially in this game where the ball was consistently at ir behind the player rather than in front, which made a big difference against an aggressive defence (though his kicking game was good too, especially under pressure). There was just no fluidity in general in this game for the canes, brumbies did well. Its a bit disappointing not ti see laumape running hard and straight at the line, hes too often trying to play distributor or when he is running at the line hes often receiving the ball flat footed, especially in this game. I hope he has a good game next week because he has been a hero for the canes over the last 6 years. Yeah will be pretty hard for the landers to finish ahead of the crusaders. Landers have a superior pd but by only 11 points so theyll probably have to get a bonus poibt and win by at least 15ish given the crusader play the rebels.
