Summer Training Program. Advice?

Are you guys actually friends in real life?

Kind of, he's not usually a d*** he is just one of those internet tough guys.Anyway I forgot to listen to my advice on the last line of the opening. Could anyone tell me what a deadlift stengthens I did a few today on small weights to *get the technique right and my legs were aching after 30 or soreps at 20kg. I thought it was a back exercise.*

Pretty much everything,
It does the lower back and legs mainly though, while also working arms and upper back and hamstrings etc.etc.
Pretty much the best exercise you can do, really

Because you were using a lighter weight, were you doing the reps quickly/in one set?
That'll do your quads more as when you think about it you're straightening you legs/bending them repeatedly over and over,
When I deadlift I do 5 sets of 5 reps

Always best to start with low weights to perfect form though, not worth risking injury for the sake of putting more weight on the bar

Yeah I was doing them pretty fast, if I remember right. I'll probably make a new*program in the next couple days. I did a session today on the old program but added a few things(deadlift and something else I forget now) and took away a few things (Barbell curl, barbell preacher curl, Decline bench press*and decline fly. I might be forgetting some). Should I start doing a plank as well? It's something we did a lot of in training or am I okay with the ab curl/twist.

If you want to strengthen your shite core do an ab circuit of v-ups, toe-touches and reverse curls at 3 sets of 20.

Better off doing hanging leg raises, planks and dragon flags ;)
That'll strengthen your core, rather than just your abs

Dragon flags are like reverse crunches but a bjillion times better/harder

Squats and Deadlifts hit your core as well
You should always do core rather than abs
