Really posting for completeness at this point:

Summary: Wiese did something really stupid, Rassie tried some wacky variations yet again and scored two tries from it (see the 3rd minute in the highlights with the midfield lineout maul”). Team played with 14 men for over 60 mins and still won 45-0. Overall the backline was way more dangerous than with Pollard at the helm, I think he might now be our third choice flyhalf. Most of the backline did really well, van der Merwe stood out along with Williams- Williams cementing himself as our best scrumhalf. In the forwards, Du Toit got the hook at 30 mins which felt harsh but Ox was massive when he came on.

Generally forwards did a solid job, Jan-Hendrick Wessels did terribly in the lineout throwing when he came on. Van Staden was quite industrious across the park. Moerat was probably the one forward (outside of the red card earner) that stood out as disappointing - a lot of knock ons and penalties without making much impact otherwise. He is clearly the worst lock in our current squad unfortunately, which is such a shame as he was really good in U20, but has been nowhere near his potential since then.

Purposely but the appropriate penalty for offside at a kick off is a scrum.
Offside at a kick off, yes.
Deliberately playing the ball whilst offside = penalty
Deliberately not kicking the ball 10m = penalty
Deliberately infringing any law of the game = penalty

This has already been clarified by World Rugby that it should have been a penalty to Italy
