Irish haven't lost to Sale for two seasons, though Sale are at home, and are starting play well. You also need to consider how they'll be smarting after losing to home against them in the final game of last season.
Saying that, Irish can turn any side over anywhere.
Expect a close match, regardless of the winner (to think this match was ignored in regards to Sky Sports and that Northampton rubbish is live on Sunday. :p)

Irish 8 - 6 up at HT.
I assume that if Sale lose this their season is over. By the sounds of it, the side has reverted to the kicking nonsense that plagued their game in September... 'Cept Irish are a competent side who can combat that.

Ojo try; Gerehty penalty.
Hodgson penalty and DG.

14 - 8 to Sale final score.
And thank f*** for that, no more Irish this season!
Good win that.

Oooh! A wobble from Irish and in a flash, Sale's season is back on track.

A revitalised HEC campaign to follow for Sale?

All 76,000,000,000,000 of them.

*First Munster cheep-shot of 2009 achievement, bleep bloop*

Scrappy first half, which Irish had the better of, continually infringing at the breakdown, to slow down the play but rarely being punished by the referee. Both teams tried to play territory but neither kicked well. Irish kept the ball in hand better and deserved the lead at the break.

Second half was a far better spectacle, sadly marred by uncontested scrums after the Sin bins.. I assume Irish were lacking a front rower. I do think that Irish were taking the p*** choosing to have uncontested scrums due to their lack of player rather than taking penalties. Sale defended fantastically under pressure for the final 10 minutes. Lobbe was phenomenal, sadly Steffon Armitage was just as good and owned Chabal. He is a must for England during the 6 nations surely.

Especially with Rees injured. Although I fear Michael Lipman may get the place.

Oh and... Cueto for England!
