The Sharks have signed Cheetahs and Springbok loose-head prop Coenie Oosthuizen on a four year deal that will see him playing Super Rugby in Durban until the end of 2019.The Sharks have recently lost Springbok prop Jannie du Plessis so Oosthuizen will be seen as a direct replacement.

Oosthuizen made his Springbok debut in 2012 and has since amassed 21 caps in the green and gold jersey. He is a versatile prop that is able to play on both sides of the scrum.Commenting on his signing, The Sharks Director of Rugby, Gary Gold said,"I am pleased that Coenie has taken up our offer to play his rugby in Durban. He is an exceptional player who boasts surprising pace and is known for his strong runs and work rate around the park."His experience will prove invaluable to our team ambitions going forward."Coenie Oosthuizen added: "It is a great privilege for me to sign with the Sharks. This is a new chapter in my career and I am looking forward to this exciting opportunity in Durban."Coenie will officially join the Sharks squad in November for pre-season training ahead of the 2016 Super Rugby tournament.

Another blow for the Cheetahs. I wonder if they will be able to have a full squad, with everybody going.
