Sharks: To be named

Sharks looked brilliant last week and the Tahs were pretty ordinary (though it's always a slog against Qld), so I'm more than a little worried about this game. But then again the Cheifs were in such a slump that they lost to the Lions the week before and the Tahs did dispose of the Sharks only a few weeks ago in relatively convincing fashion.

I made a picture at work today about what I think will happen, and yes, it is the obvious picture that someone would do but I am still proud of it. :)

LMAO BLR. Brilliant, but seriously, i got no idea what to make of this game, i can see a very very close game coming. If the Sharks can play 80min of rugby, i think they will win, but if they cant manage to keep up the pace, the Tahs are going to capitalize on everything the Sharks do wrong..... It's going to be one hell of a match!

If the Sharks can keep there concentration (after the last tome they played the 'Tahs) they could run out winners. The Sharks may have destroyed the Chiefs but the Chiefs did have a terrible season in defense while the 'Tahs have being brilliant. If both teams play like they did last week the Sharks would just scrape through

Yeah, because Lote got so hammered by the Sharks in their 25-10 DEFEAT to NSW a few weeks ago :p .
Move to South Africa BLR, I think you'd be happier there ;)

The Sharks are showing evidence of peaking at the right time. Hopefully that's the case. We haven't played well away from home this season, that's my only concern really. Tah's are a good team and deserve their home semi. Should be a cracker.
Anybody know what's the weather forecast for Saturday?

Good Luck Sharkies, lets keep that Trophy in SA for a while yet, in Canterbury they still think it's there because its made such a permanent mark on the Cabinet!

Sharks: Stefan Terblanche; Odwa Ndungane, Adrian Jacobs, Francois Steyn, J.P. Pietersen; Ruan Pienaar, Rory Kockott; Ryan Kankowski, A.J. Venter, Jacques Botes; Johann Muller (captain), Steven Sykes; Jannie du Plessis, Bismarck du Plessis, Tendai Mtawarira. Replacements: Craig Burden, Deon Carstens, Albert van den Berg, Jean Deysel, Epi Taione, Brad Barritt, Waylon Murray

sanzar, you should know that finals are an entirely different affair...and the Tahs don't have the bottle in finals series. ;)
He lives in Perth sanzar, he's already there :p[/b]
Urban myth, I only know one South African and that was from high school. Stop belittling the greatest city in Australia, our resources and industries allow you guys over east to be able to afford your pretty powder blue shirts. ;)

PS. And both of you admit my paint job is a work of genius and you are hanging it up on your wall right now. :)

Yeah yeah, the Tahs can't play finals but then the Sharks can't win away from SA this year and the fact that the Sharks have already lost at the same stadium (which will be packed this time around) earlier give NSW a solid advantage.

The Sharks have alot of quality players, and will be prepared for final rugby, they will come with a fire in thier belly because of what happened last season. The Tahs though, I'm not convinced they have the balls to win a game, I haven't really seen much from them that'd suggest they have the balls to go on an win it. Keep in mind the game against the Force for example the Tahs dominated the game yet only won from a freak intercept, while the Force nearly won it on the death as well....too much class in the Sharks and they are over thier midfield slump it seems.

If the Sharks go out to an early lead the NSW fair weather fans will leave and the stadium will be empty once again. ;)

Well I guess time will tell. I seriously can't see how you could rite NSW, but then again I guess you hate NSW enough for that and you're probably still ****** that all the rubbish you and fushi have been spouting about what no-hopers NSW are has continually been proven wrong over the course of this tournament.
I dunno, I can't work out what your beef is. It's like you can't get past your preset bias or something, to the point that even if NSW continue winning you can't admit... wait a minute!!! You're on the NSWRU board of directors aren't you BLR? I knew it! The unrelenting denial that the Tahs were doing anything right despite their victories, the support for sacking their coach when there wasn't any replacement, the denial that you're judgments were ever wrong. It's all falling into place now... no wonder the NSWRU board are such a pack of c#nts! They're all a bunch of Yarpie loving West Australians!!
Quick! Someone get me representatives from the Murdoch press so this story can be broken!

sanzar, by your wild and slightly wierd allegations...your not Grumbles Growden are you? :D

sanzar, did you manage to have a look at the sky during all of that? The weather will be an important factor. Tah's have played 10 out of 13 games in wet weather.

Just because we're the best wet weather team going around doesn't mean we can't win on a dry patch ;) .

Um yeah, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger I guess.
BTW what's the weather gonna be like???!!! FFS!!!

19 degrees max for Saturday with a minimum of 11 degrees, and sunny....will the Tahs brilliant defence stop the big buggers of the Sharks or the boot of Mr Francois Steyn?

Thanks for that BLR. Our scrum should do some damage in dry weather. Can't wait for this one!
