According to the BBC, Sean Holley is expected to part company with the Ospreys at the end of the season:

Great news imo. He's been there too long, and has never impressed me. I've always been undecided about Humphreys. On the one hand, the Ospreys scrum is always strong, but in cruicial games the Ospreys forwards can get blown out of the water.

I'd like to see Andrew Hore leave next, because I don't understand what it is he does at the club. He was an excellent fitness director with Wales in 2005, but how does that translate to running a region (if that's what he does).

Some big changes at the Ospreys, and I'm looking forward to see who they bring in as head coach next season. I think they need someone experienced. There's a good suqad there, with tons of potential, so it should be a tempting position. Any rumours flying around?

Best bit of Ospreys news I've heard in yonks.

Would not snub him to be honest. Probably a better bet than Holley and Humphries.

They should tell Mike Ruddock to grow up and come home. :)

Yes. I'd take O'Sullivan, to be honest. He's hardly the best coach in the world, but the USA have done a decent job with him at the helm, although I do hope that those Wayne Smith rumours going around a few months ago turn out to be true. Just glad Holley & Johnson are gone.

Tbf the rumours about Wayne Smith are verging on the years ago, rather than months. They were circulating before Holley was given the role permanently and it was all very depressing and hugely disappointing :(

He got the USA Eagles defence sorted out but was a terrible attacking coach. The USA, with Ngwenya, had the worst taknig record in the World Cup. Only four tries.

Humph is the worst of them in my opinion. The natural talent and technique of people like Adam Jones gets us out of trouble all too often with some big scrummaging performances. In almost every other aspect of forward play we normally look completely clueless. Makes me want to know what the hell they are doing on the training pitch. First Phillips and now Kahn, both clearly good scrum halves who have received a lot of criticism for being slow to distribute in their time at the Os. Yet when you watch closely, you notice that they spend/spent half their time screaming at the forwards to get into position. Webb only looks quicker because he doesn't bother and just goes himself all the time. At the Scarlets, we were two metres from the line and the forwards looked like they didn't have a clue what they were supposed to be doing/where they were supposed to be. Against any half decent pack we get absolutely shown up for a bunch of clueless idiots (apart from in the scrum), when clearly the players are pretty talented guys.

Yeah, sounds about right to me.

I want Humphries and Holley gone. How they've stayed so long beggars belief. The rumours are that Steve Tandy could take over, i hope not i want an established coach with proven success. I really don't care what his nationality is as long as he can get us winning and playing good rugby, i want the best man for the job.

There was a list of candidates on walesonline a while ago

Dean Richards - My personal choice.
Kingsley Jones - Crap at Sale. Don't know how to judge him on Russia
Mike Ruddock - He will never come back to Wales
Wayne Smith - I'd like that
Nick Mallett - Very unlikely
John Plumtree - I'd like that
Lyn Jones - Very unlikely
Robin McBryde - Not really enthused by that TBO
Eddie O'Sullivan - I think he could do well with the squad we've got. Its hard to judge him on the US because they obviously dont have the talent of Ireland which he did quite well with.

I'll add John Kirwan to that list. But its unlikely because he basically said he wants to go to a team that can win. He won't be able to do that with the squad we'll have for the next few years!

If they do bring in a new head coach whoever it may be. I suspect that they'd want to bring in their own support staff. So Humphies and Holley would then go.

It's official, and Scott Johnson's going immediately. There's a press conference at 12, where I'd expect we'll hear Steve Tandy's taking over until the end of the season.

Well this is nice in a way that "We" are attempting to start with a blank canvas again. Holley and Johnson have been great servants over the years, but I think everyone can see that we hit our peak around 2 years back. Shall be very interesting to see if Tandy takes over till the end and also to see if a shortlist emerges for the job. They need a "Big Personality" to cope with the high expectations and was going to say the squad (But we've lost most of that :p ). Exiting Times :D :D

I knew about this on Sunday well I heard it was happening and Tandy in charge till the end of the season is common sense as it will now give Cuddy time to look for a full time replacement at the end of the season.
