Well, thats the autumn tests over for this year and imho, it was a massive success :), 2 wins plus a very tough 1pt loss to Australia.

We have found a gem in Huw Jones so hopefully he continues his good form in 6N.

Another positive imho is the number of tries being scored, we were never known for being a team that scored lots of tries, especially 6 in one day.

Our defence need to tighten up just slightly especially against England and Ireland.

The only disappointment was that Cornell du Preez didn't get any matches but we may see him during 6N when the full squad will bw needed.

So, BRING ON 6N.

Yes, a lot of positives with all the new blood up front too. Scotland should look to challenge Wales and an improving France in the 6N and consolidate a top 8 (or 7 ) ranking. Finn Russell must be kept healthy at all costs though. Also Vern Cotter must be increasingly bemused at getting let go, while Townsends Glasgow have been horsed two games running.

This 6 nations coming up should be a cracker. England and Ireland are in great form, Scotland and France look to be improving and Wales could click and become dangerous. Italy are....gonna be there.

In terms of contests, yes. Just hope the quality of the rugby improves compared to last year's borefests, especially the ones played early on in the Championship.

Ireland v England - last match of the six nations 2017. Now that is a match worth looking forward to.

with a name like Huw Jones i still cant beleive he does not have any connection to wales! but in all seriousness Scotland have really impressed me this Autumn, just wish they had pipped Aus. going to murrayfiled in the 6N will be tough

France end up their AI in stunning fashion:

Win over Samoa
Unlucky loss to Australia B
Lucky loss to NZ Tourist Board dressed in black

The 6N campaign should be interesting. I expect Ireland and England to adopt the same tactics as previous years and to come out on top. I would disappointed if we didn't beat a Gatland-less Wales at home. Italy should be a home banker and France in Paris will be tough but winnable. We really need Nel back to shore up the scrum. We also need to keep the injuries to a minimum as strength in depth is an issue.

I think our depth is really improving with the amout of decent young blood coming through. The major exceptions are fly-half and fullback, and that's why I'm very keen to have Kinghorn given the opportunity to try stand-off (as a back up option to his fullback specialism). He'll be an invaluable squad player even at such a tender age if he can make that transition.

I think France are going to be the surprise package this 6 Nations.

Yar, France vs Scotland vs Wales is going to be hugely competitive for the 6N and for a top 8 world ranking. I'd make France favourite out of those three.
