Scarlets V Edinburgh

16-17 to Edinburgh in the end. Preistland and Davis cost the Scarlets the game. Davis ruined two overlaps that they otherwise would have scored from and Preistland missed the equivelent of 11 points. Fair play to Edinburgh, though. They did play well.

Saw only about 20min of this match at the start of the second half. I was unfortunate enough to witness that challenge by Turnball almost imediately after he came on to the field. Appalling piece of play from him, taking the player out in the air. What must have been going through his head? Idiot!

Bad loss for the Scarlets at home. They had the personel to win this game. Some poor defense seemed to cost them in the period I watched.

Glasgow vs Ulster - an audience of over 8,000

Scarlets vs Edinburgh - barely 5,000

Whaaaaaaaaat the hell is going on?!?!?!

Priestland is becoming worse for being Mr.Inconsistent when it comes to kicking.
Nicky Robinson used to have a firm hold on that ***le (hence the reason ben blair came along), but now he's out of the country, Rhys feels like someone in Wales needs to be kicking amazingly in one game and then ******** all over the field in the next.
Missing simple kicks and the weather wasn't that bad.

Ulster were at home tonight, not Glasgow, and they've been getting big-ish crowds at Ravenhill for years now. The Irish clubs bar Connacht have the best average attendances by far.

best I've seen the Scarlets play for a long time.... JD should have had a try near the end
