They might be thinking of adding a Monday Night game like NRL, NFL, NHL etc

I'm totally good with midweek matches. Disappointed that there were no question on format other than which matches people were most excited about.

My concern with midweek matches is that its already a tight schedule and players have a limited amount of rest and by having midweek matches we are either going to have it as additional fixtures, or we are going to get at least one of the teams in the Wednesday match playing on a Wednesday, then having a short recovery time to their next match that weekend (or a short recovery time from their previous weekend match). We all saw the complaints and concerns that the minnow teams put up about the lack of recovery time at the RWC.

Think those to issues are related. Changing the number of games would allow them to change the format.
I agree with weekday matches. Nothing wrong with that in my book.

Midweeks would mean a greater emphasis on squad depth and rotation. It could make the tournament interesting in that (like in the French Top 14) 'bigger' teams will likely rest their top players for the 'smaller' teams which (big assumption, I know) should give 'the little guy' a better shot a win.

Just answered the survey. Funny thing how we all hate the conference system, I wrote about it on the survey without even reading Heineken's comment. No conference, no playoffs, no home and away matches. Just a simple league format all vs all, even though that would mean Jaguares having an incredible amount of travel all season long.

Surely it would be home darbys between the same countrys teams on monday nights?

My biggest gripe i mentioned was too many games.
