RC3 isn't working. Can I use modded kits on RC2?

After trying to uninstall the Mega Patch due to crashes and glitches, my game no longer works. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game on steam. Is there a way to reset my files to the original game? Otherwise, i'll have to go back to RC2, which I would like to update kits but i'm not sure if this is possible?

You do not need to uninstall the whole patch, the problem of the locks is due to the database.
