Sale have continued to build for the future with the re-signing of promising England U20s prop Henry Thomas, who pens a new three-year contract.
The 19-year-old made his debut in October having joined from Bristol and has cemented his place with some assured displays.
"I'm very happy to extend the length of my contract, and to be given the opportunity to play for the club for another three years," he said, speaking to the club's website.
"I've probably already exceeded my personal targets for the season, and it didn't take me long to sign up for the chance to stay with the Sharks."
Sale executive director Steve Diamond added: "Henry is a great prospect who has a great attitude, great work ethic and it's a massive plus for the club with Henry agreeing to re-sign.
"He belies his age and he is exactly the type of player we need, to help us get to where we want to be."
