I posted on this forum about my problem with installing the old classic game Rugby 2001(pc) on vista.May have been my pc or down to vista?But I have found a solution so I thought I would let you all here know the outcome just incase somebody has the same problem in the future.What was going on was when I inserted the disc the install shield loaded up and went to 99% then crashed backed to desktop.So therefore no install was possible.See http://www.therugbyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?26548-Rugby-2001
So what I did after unearthing some google pc expert advice was shut down your pc and then re-start holding F8 key so you can put your pc into safe mode(not safe mode with networking) Then when you are back at your desktop in safe mode install the game as normal with the disc.Your install shield should now go to 100% or flip over to install button.It worked for me
