anyone else out there playing/getting this? I just beat the single player yesterday on the pc. game is quality from start to finish and I'm really glad I did decide to get it. some obvious tweaks have been made to the source engine and the lighting especially looks really good. there is some great dialogue in the game too I won't spoil any of it but instead say that stephen merchant did a fantastic job. going to go through the co-op soon with either my brother or one of my friends that has it.

Thought the first was fantastic,

Don't know about getting this - don't have a gaming PC to exploit the fact I have my brothers Steam username/password (and he bought it), and don't fancy paying £40ish for it for my xbox
Certainly looks good though

Played the first and thought it was excellent, but extremely short. I finished it in under 4 hours in one sitting and was left wanting more. I'll get the second one soon, when I've finished uni for the year.

Finished the singleplayer for this today on pc. Thought it was excellent in every department really. It has tonnes of new features and it's a lot longer, but at the same time it has everything that made the first game so great. Can't wait to play through the co-op next week when I'm back from holiday.

The graphics have clearly moved up a notch, and there are several breathtaking scenes to show that off (one in particular springs to mind very early on). I personally found it funnier than the first one as well. Honestly I can't find anything to complain about. If you're even vaguely considering buying this you should just get it, I'm sure you wont regret it.

Now I think it's time Valve gave a certain neglected series some much needed attention... .
