Very sad indeed. I find it all the more disturbing that we have yet to see any pictures of the plane yet. It must be a hellish way to die.

In a space of almost 8 years between 27 March 1977 and 19 February 1985, 1058 people perished in plane crashes in Spain. Unfortunately this just adds to their terrible record. [/b]
I highly doubt terrorism in the madrid crash, but until it's ruled out it's a possibility after the train bombing in madrid.
Those planes should be taken out of commission. I had to wait at heathrow on the tarmac for 5 hrs because of a fault and i'm glad they swapped planes rather than attempt to take off if the fault wasn't fixed. And that was a huge plane.

I was getting a flight from Athens a few hours after this plane crash in Madrid. Let's just say it was a scary take off for me.[/b]
