Apparently, he's under the temptation to go towards Mungo Ball ( :D no offence).

How do you leaguies reckon he'd go in RL ? I think he'd make a decent player, if not better.

Your thoughts ?
 
There was talk about this about the same time last year.

Which club is he considering this time? Is it the NZ Warriors again? I've heard that the Gold Coast ***ans are fairly keen on him as well, with the feeling being mutual.

I reckon he'd be a hooker in the mold of PJ Marsh...but Piri has 10kg on PJ so he might even be able to play more of a running game like Danny Buderus. Although, it would be interesting to see him have a crack at a play making role.
 
last time he went over with the knights, so he may be looking at going there as he already has the connections there. He practiced with them during the conditioning program last year, not that he went to the world cup anyway.
 
i cant seam to find any information backing that up with a quick search sorry.

i dont care if he goes anyway :) there is something about him i dont like, but i cant put my finger on it.
 
The fact he's overated?

Cowan should've been picked ahead of him all of last year and should've made it ahead of Ellis at the RWC.
 
yeah way overrated. and i live in stinking wellington where they all rave how good a 1st five he is as well.

they are so deluded here, they all like goperth as well :)

Hell no. Haha. He aint in my list. He misses too many crucial penalty goals.

No they don't, I saw some drunk hurl abuse at Gopperth along Manners Mall a couple of weeks ago.
