Picking the right team

When playing sports games online, how important is it? Do players' skills and team tactics make much of a difference, or can you just play however with whoever?

I've never been one for team tactics etc. so i always just play with whatever the starting *insert number of players in that sports team* that the computer chooses, then make subs during the game based on who's tired/which sub has the highest rating

Suppose that's why i'm not a fan of/am terrible at Football Manager

I'll usually play with whoever, although I am partial to a good set of wingers in pro evo.


On the Footy Manman front the only weay to go is to let the best players play and damn the consequences. All my mates overthink the game, hence them being ****. I, on the other hand, use the old KISS.
