Pan American Games: Men's Sevens

Men's 7's rugby makes it's Pan-Am games debut this weekend in Guadalajara Mexico, with the pool stages set for Saturday October 29, and the elimination day set for the 30th as the final event of the entire games.

Eight teams will be competing including two of the IRB core teams U.S.A. and Argentina, along with regulars Canada and several emerging minnows. The teams are divided into two pools of four, everyone will advance to finals day with seedings the only object of the first day.

All teams advance to the elimination day with seedings determining the quaterfinal matchups, crossovers between pools where 1st place faces 4th and 2nd plays 3rd.
