he leaves the sharks because he's not getting any game time, but then he wants to join the Stormers who has more depth at centre than any other team in South Africa???

And I see that Burton Francis is training with the Stormers now as well.

Grant, Greek lad, van Asswegen, Coleman and Dollee on the books already, yet they feel the need to bring in a player that offers a skill set arguably more limited than any of those youngsters. Guess the 10 or so SR appearances over three years is the major attraction. :/

I dunnoh, Jacobs is out of contract whilst Juan de Jongh penned a new last season I think. Sharks aren't really into paying release fees.

I think Plum might be satisfied with the squad as is, but hopefully he isn't.

I agree SA rugby is shuffling it's players in the wrong directions, ideally you want as many of the possible Springbok contenders starting

I really think Juan de Jongh should move team, so maybe it is a swap with him and Jacobs

de Jongh would start every game if he joined us. I don't think you will find any Sharks fan who would turn him down.
Now we need our prodigal fluffy-haired son to return, and all is well.

Silly move by the Sharks. We keep Joubert and discard Jacobs?!
I feel shame at the moment, Jacobs has been a good loyal player for Natal, he doesn't deserve this kind of treatment. And we need him anyway! Joubert is old and Terblanche is going. WTF! Rudolf you ***.

I'm with you guys on De Jongh though, cracking player! His heart is in the Cape though, he would have to get properly shafted by WeePee before he'd move.
