I think Ardie Savea is 100% made for the captaincy. The guy is EVERYWHERE, and how many times do you find yourself saying: "Man... that Sam Cane is a beast". We have the talent, we have literally the most ridiculous talent, and yet it is inefficiently used, having the same problems and mistakes vs Ireland that we had 5 years ago is unacceptable.
Schmidt coached NZ for the 1st game... They pressured Ireland more with their defense and attacking than any other point besides that frantic 20mins in the 2nd half today. This ABs team LITERALLY has no structure, direction, or belief. I don't believe Foster knows who he is even going to play in the next game at the following positions: 10 to 15. Let alone 6, 7, and 8. No clue. Seriously. When was the last time we had the same centre pairing start more than 3 games in a row together? Oh wait, the answer is 2015. I also think Sam Cane as captain has run it's course. I think Ardie Savea is 100% made for the captaincy. The guy is EVERYWHERE, and how many times do you find yourself saying: "Man... that Sam Cane is a beast". He literally oozes that "never give up" attitude and work rate. I just don't think Cane is that inspiring as a captain. We've had Kieran Read, McCaw... Sam Cane is just nowhere near those levels of a man for this All Blacks team. We have the talent, we have literally the most ridiculous talent, and yet it is inefficiently used, having the same problems and mistakes vs Ireland that we had 5 years ago is unacceptable.
