The LNR have poduced a New Deal (this is its ***le) for the TOP 14 and Pro D2.

Bugets will stay at 10 mill, TOP 14 but if a club has internationals their budget will increase by 100,000 per player if the player or players are selected in the group of 30( July /Aug) eg. 3 players in the group,+300,000€ increase on the buget

Club payment from the FFR for International duty will increase from 550€ to 1300€ per day.

Clubs will be able to loan players more easily, giving espoirs and players with not much game time a chance to play more for another team.

Yellow cards, 3 yellows will bring an automatic ban of one match, but if more serious discipline is needed it will be given by the disiplinary com.

The bonus defensive point will now be 5 points difference and not 7points between the teams, good or bad not sure about that one, maybe because it induces negative defensive play from some teams???

Referees have been asked to try and give the advantage to attacking teams and get the game to flow better where ever possible and if scrum ball is definelty won and the scrum collapses let play continue, finally any club official using unpolite methods or attacking referees, FFR, or LNR, will be santioned heavily this looks very much like a warning to Toulon President Boujellal and Bernie le bolt Laporte + a few others they may have to curb their tongues next season, or be fined heavily a case of don't knock the OLD FARTS syndrome!!!!!!!!

yep, just read the article. I'm quite glad this has happened.
The French national team borrowing players for 1300€ a day as a rise from the former 550 is a fine measure I think. Rugby has become a heavy industry in France, and it's just fair the FFR contribute with big bucks to a big bucks league.

In accordance with the previous FFR-LNR agreements - which I don't know how much of has survived/will survive ! - it seems we're actually nearing something decent here.

Clubs will be a lot less reluctant to give us their players for test duties, and in fact with their salary cap augmenting with each borrow, they'll be encouraged in certain cases. Toulouse should see a huge salary cap rise in capacity, given they lend half their team to the xv de France.

Instead of the losing bonus-point being given for finishing seven points or less behind the winning the team, that margin has been reduced to five.

There is also a one-match suspension for any player that is brandished with three yellow cards in an attempt to reduce foul play and up tempo.

Meanwhile, there's a boost to teams who boast international stars as during pre-season, a group of 30 players will be named in the France squad, which will lead to an extra €100,000 per player being granted to a Top 14 side's salary cap. That cap has been frozen at €10 million next season.

In other positives to clubs who lose players to the national set-up, compensation paid to them is set for an increase from €550 to €1,300 per day."

If the 30 selected pre season are all injured in week one....does that mean that France cannot put out a team?

If FFR are able to call up another 30 (to make the point you understand) does that mean that the various salary caps are increased by 3 million on top of that for the 30 original players?

Does the daily fee refer to the time the international players are with the FFR or is it time they are not with the clubs such as when injured on International duty?

The daily fee is paid by the FFR when the players are present for International training or matches. if they are injured the FFR will pay moreorless anything that the club asks for, balls cars, dancing girls this is also to make sure that the Irish the Welsh the Scots and the English are very very annoyed and re start the 100 yr war but forget that the World Cup is next year have no players as they are all in France with the dancing girls or the ones left which are not much cop have been drafted into the 100 year war and France win the World Cup..............
