Munster Squad: Alan Quinlan, Billy Holland, Damien Varley, Danny Barnes, Dave Foley, Dave Ryan, David Wallace, Denis Hurley, Donncha O'Callaghan, James Coughlan, Jean de Villiers, Jerry Flannery, John Hayes, Julien Brugnaut, Lifeimi Mafi, Marcus Horan, Mick O'Driscoll, Niall Ronan, Paul Warwick, Peter O'Mahony, Peter Stringer, Ronan O'Gara, Scott Deasy, Simon Zebo, Tom Gleeson, Tomas O'Leary, Tony Buckley.

Would possibly expect Zebo to get another run.
Paul O'Connell isn't looking to well for H'Cup but fingers crossed, other absentee's seem to be pre-cautions at moment.

Ronan O'Gara, Tomas O'Leary Marcus Horan and the rest of Munster's international contingent - with some notable exceptions - return to action for tomorrow's crucial Magners League clash with Ospreys at Thomond Park Stadium(6.30pm).
Those exceptions are Paul O'Connell and Keith Earls who were not named in an extended squad earlier in the week while Tony Buckley, who was, has failed to recover from a knee injury picked up in the game against Connacht on Sunday.
Try scorer from the Sportsground, Scott Deasy retains his place in the starting XV but on the wing rather than full back while debutant last Sunday Simon Zebo is also retained in the match day 22, named on the bench alongside Denis Hurley who returns from injury.

Munster: P Warwick; T Gleeson, L Mafi, J De Villiers, S Deasy; R O'Gara capt, T O'Leary; M Horan, J Flannery, J Hayes; D O'Callaghan, M O'Driscoll; A Quinlan, D Wallace, J Coughlan. Replacements: D Varley, J Brugnaut, B Holland, N Ronan, P Stringer, D Hurley, S Zebo

Ospreys
15 Lee Byrne
14 Tommy Bowe
13 Andrew Bishop
12 James Hook
11 Shane Williams
10 Dan Biggar
9 Mike Phillips

1 Paul James
2 Huw Bennett
3 Adam Jones
4 Ian Gough
5 Jonathan Thomas
6 Jerry Collins
7 Marty Holah
8 Ryan Jones (Capt)

2 strong teams named. But I disappointed Zebo only on bench as I think he alot better than Gleeson who goes into hiding.

Deasy is going well and I glad he is retained although maybe Denis Hurley shoul've been started to aid his recovery.

Who the hell is Zebo??!!
(Btw this is a gyppo post, my first since this whole revamp - just checking i can actually do it!) Iyaaaa everybody!!

We're starting 4 centres (11-14) and have two wings on the bench? Seems a bit f-ing stupid to me.

Ospreys to win by minus 6.

Actually, Sprays to win by a million with that team out.

I think Munster will just about take this as their playing at thomond however the starting IV for the ospreys is top class. why isn't howlett playing??

There are 2 possible explanations

A. I'm thick
B. I'm 24 hours ahead

Think its obvious which one though

How much is the rental on a Delorean these days anyway?

Reason Howlett is not playing is as a pre-caution of risjing his injury but he will be fine for San Sebastian.

Only major worry is POC and seen them training today the word is he 30-70 to make it.

As for tomorrow Monkey the Munster management see Gleeson as a winger (how I don't know) and Deasy as a Earls-type player who will play anywhere.
Was asking why Zebo isn't starting tomorrow for either ML game or B&I semi and answer i got was they don't want to throw him in heavily just ease him in to ML and that he is above B&I squad tomorrow.
Hurley is only back from injury and will play 25-35mins according to the plan.

Still I expect this game to be a tricky one as O's have very strong team nemed and it is an excellent test ahead of Biarritz next week.

Just to mention - if Munster fail to get any points in this match and Edinburgh lose to Ulster, it means that the game at the Cardiff City Stadium is essentially a quarter final!

EDIT: Oh and if its a draw, then you are both safe.

They two big IF's especially Ulster winning away but really would expect Munster really to aim for a home semi-final and a win tomorrow and even a loosing BP away to Blues would possibly do although aim is 2wins. Scarletts will be well up for Glasgow game annd I have a feeling they may win that game.

I know, Im just being optimistic ;). Looking forward to the game tonight, both have good sides out.

I think the Ospreys may win, but only just. Only becuase Munster will have one eye on the HC. Plus I think Ospreys will want to make up for that quarter final loss two years ago and they will bring a HC intensity to the game. In fact it'll probably be a good warm up for Munster either way!

Munster do have 1 eye on next week but I think we have other side to and for once players are really playing for spots and hope that is a good thing.

I've not seen one, the place i normally watch them has the Wasps/Bath game on (odd, as the streamer is Irish)

Edit: S4C are showing it, so you can watch it on their website (not sure if it works outside of the UK though)
