They have a national team that has played games and awarded caps. I can't find any reference to them being denied FIRA/AER affiliation, their website says as of this summer they are hoping to become affiliated very soon.

Well the summer came and went. Their wish for affiliation was denied, they just haven't updated their website yet. Some news stories on the events, one from Reuters:

Ellan Vannin, the Manx name for the Isle of Man, football team has just reached the semi finals of the Conifa World Cup beating no less than Kurdistan yesterday in Sweden!!
They now face Arameans Suryoye (national football team representative of the Aramean people world wide) in the semi final on Friday.
The Conifa World Cup, for the few of you who have never heard it, is the world cup for non FIFA "Nations"!

According to a Mannin government official, there are 6 RU clubs but there is no RL club in Mannin. Is it possible to establish a RL club if there are already 6 RU blubs?

Unfortunately Ellan Vannin was beaten by penalty shoot-out.
By the way, I have much against the current system of penalty shoot-out.
Firstly, the order ABABABAB... is not equal. The order should be ABBAABBAABB...
And the number of kickers must be 10.
