The Maidstone RFC case rumbles on - the club have claimed their medical evidence was ignored by the RFU before being docked 50 points and fined £2,000 for the eye-gouge which blinded a Gravesend player in one eye. The view isn't shared by the RFU, unsurprisingly.

If you want to know the truth go the the RFU website and read the findings, Maidstone's statement if full of lies, you would think they would give up now everyone know's they have lied and closed ranks, the question I have is why have three key people that have been with Maidstone for years either stepped down or left, is it the pressure of covering up?????????

Oh and now Maidstone have removed their statement from their website, very strange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dislike what the RFU have done here.

Imagine if a person is murdered in an apartment building. The Police cannot find who did it, but know for certain that it was someone living in the building, so the courts send everyone to jail, including residents who were elsewhere at the time.

If Maidstone decided to take this to Court, the courts would throw the RFU's ruling out without hesitation (breach of Natural Justice). You simply cant take the "school headmaster" approach of punishing the whole class for the actions of one (unknown) child.

This is just another example of what the PRL say when they accuse the RFU of acting acting unprofessionally.

Well that's what happens when you cover up for one of your player, the whole club should go down for this and I hope they suffer with the guilt for the rest of their days
